Milan Stadium or “Scala” of soccer or just San Siro, was built in 1925 near the Hippodrome, for want of the President of the A.C Milan Piero Pirelli (in those days Inter would play at Arena Civica). Only after 22 years, it became the home Stadium for Inter FC too. The total capacity is now up to 85.700 seatings.
The structure, not only hosts Inter and Milan matches, but also the most important artists of the International music, such as Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, U2, Madonna, Michael Jackson and lots more. You can visit the Stadium not only during the sport and musical events, but also during the days where no event takes place.
If you take a guided tour, you can retrace the route of the football players, passing from the locker rooms through the tunnel entrance to the field from where you will get the most exciting and magical view of the stadium. Meazza houses the museum of Inter and Milan that shows the history of these prestigious clubs through a unique collection of memorabilia: authentic shirts, cups and trophies, shoes, balls and art objects. You can find a store that offers the official merchandising of both soccer teams.
